The Evolution of Korean Fashion

Koreans are now well known for their pretty(man-made) features, beautiful skin and great fashion sense. In this image conscious nation, its not rare to find people dressed up in unique fashion. Let us now take a look at how fashion has changed in Korea over the years.

Year 2001-2003

Hideous baggy fashion was the 'in' thing then.

High socks were another



Year 2004-2007

Korean girls liked to imitate the style of their favorite stars such as Britney Spears' low rise jeans trend.







 Year 2008-2011

With a higher brand awareness among young people, the Koreans started to take note of fashion trends more. They experimented much with fashion and enjoyed their own sense of fashion.



 

 
Heels were seen on almost every woman's feet.

Mini-skirts are a hit among Korean women.


And of course, they are lovers of Vintage fashion.

Koreans remain ever so devoted and passionate about fashion. And shouldn't we Singaporeans learn from them too? Who knows, maybe one day we might be well known for our fashion sense as well!
